Shikhar

SHIKHAR a Technical Festival was started in the year 2009 at JIT with a vision to broaden the horizon of students in technical as well as management fields. The event provides a platform to innovate and put forth students’ ideas in the field of Electronics Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, MBA & Architecture. The first edition was an inter-collegiate event at city level. The success of the event escalated so quickly, that in the very next year, Shikhar was organized as a national level event, with students participating not only from Vidarbha but from other states as well. Every year approximately 1200 to 1500 students participate in this techfest. The event aims to bring together the students from different disciplines of Engineering, Architecture and Management from various colleges all over India on a single platform.
