JHULELAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY CELEBRATES Mahatma Gandhi’s 150th birth anniversary
Jhulelal Institute of Technology celebrated Gandhi Jayanti & Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti on 1st of October 2019. All teachers, students & staff attended the event. The celebrations for Gandhi Jayanti started by welcoming all the dignitaries & professors. The event started by the students to explain the significance of the day. After the lamp-lighting a song was sung on Mahatmaji by students. After the song, the skit on various facts of Gandhiji’s life was presented in a very beautiful and dignified manner. The theme of the play focused on nonviolence & educational contribution of Gandhiji. After the skit, the quiz round on gandhiji’s & lal Bahadur Shastri life story was conducted. At the end, the presidential speech was given by the director of the institution on the life of Gandhiji. The event ended with his favorite prayer, National Anthem.
Mr. Mahesh Sadhwani, Chairman, Mr. Virendra Kukreja, Standing Committee Chairman, Nagpur Municipal Corporation & Secretary, SSCT, Mr. Pramod Pampatwar, Director Technical, Ms. Madhavi Wairagade, Director HR & Administration, were great source of motivation for celebrating this event. The event was conducted under the guidance of sDr. Narendra Bawane, Principal, Dr. D. Bhowmick, Vice-Principal & Head of the Department, Prof. Mona Mulchandani.
