10 STUDENTS OF JHULELAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY SECURE 9 OUT OF TOP 10 UNIVERSITY RANKS

In continuation with the tradition of securing university ranks, the students of Jhulelal Institute of Technology, Nagpur have brought laurels to the college this year also by securing meritorious positions. The students have performed exceptionally well as ten students have secured nine ranks out of the top ten university ranks in the second semester M.Tech VLSI (CBCS) Summer 2018 examination. Ms. Amber Sana Shamshad Sheikh has ranked first at the university level while Ms. Kajal Dhawale has ranked second. Ms. Divyani Shende is third, Ms. Rekha Sharma is fourth while Ms. Neha Chauhan has secured fifth position. The sixth rank is shared by Ms. Subhashini Sarode and Ms. Anjum Nuzhat.  Ms. Tanushree Khorgade has ranked seventh, Ms. Shumaila Khan is ninth and Ms. Shriya Rahate has secured the tenth position. It is a matter of great joy, honor and pride for JIT as it has continued its legacy of securing top ranks in various engineering university examinations. Ms. Khushbu Lalwani and Ms. Girishma Batra, students of M.tech VLSI, had secured first and second university rank respectively in the overall M.Tech VLSI degree in Summer 2017. The students of JIT have continued to add new success stories this year also.

JIT VISITS PARLE

Jhulelal Institute of Technology, department of Electronics & Telecommunication, had arranged for an industrial visit for the III semester students to Parle G factory, Umrer Road, Nagpur. The students were enlightened about the history of the Parle industry and how it evolved into an international brand. Various videos demonstrating the procedure of making the confectionery were also shown. After the briefing about the manufacturing processes, the students witnessed the live processes of manufacturing. Mr. Ajay Petkar, HR, gave an insight to the machinery, the steps involved and the technologies used in the process. The applicability of PLC Scada was also discussed. Mr. Ajay also made it a point to answer the queries of the ever curious students. Prof. Mahadev Mahajan, Prof. Samta Talatule, Mr. Ravindra Surjuse and Mr. Umesh Kokate accompanied the students and were a source of encouragement for them. JHULELAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY’S STUDENTS SHINE IN RTM NAGPUR UNIVERSITY EXAMINATION

Living up to the tradition of producing university rankers, this year too, the students of Jhulelal Institute of Technology, Nagpur brought laurels to the college by securing first and second positions in the Nagpur university examinations. Ms. Khushbu Lalwani, a student of M.tech VLSI, secured first university rank in the IV semester examination conducted in Summer-17, as well as bagged the first position in the overall Masters of Technology degree in VLSI. Ms. Girishma Batra secured second position in the overall Masters of Technology degree in VLSI. Ms. Khushbu Lalwani and Ms. Girishma Batra both have graduated from Jhulelal Institute of Technology and were the first university rankers in VIII semester examination held in Summer-15 and Summer-14 respectively. Girishma Batra was also a gold medalist in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering. The students were felicitated at the hands of the management for their exceptional performance.
