GOVERNING COUNCIL (GC)
Since its inception in 2008, Governing Council (GC) was established in accordance with AICTE norms. The governing council is formed with an objective to ensure effective, efficient, economical execution of the administration of the college so as to achieve the excellence in technical education as well as holistic development of the students.
Functions:
The governing council would perform the following functions:
(a) To monitor the teaching and determine the teaching faculty requirement in the college.
(b) To monitor and evaluate the teaching programs in the college and suggest remedial measures.
(c) To Approve induction of new courses / programs or closure of existing programs / courses or variation in intake.
(d) To discuss and approve proposals from College Development Committee (CDC) formerly known as Local management Committee (LMC).
(e) To appoint Principal, the teaching and non-teaching staff on the recommendations of the selection committees constituted under the relevant regulations of the university
(f) To monitor faculty deployment and development, placement and industry-institute interacting activities in the college and suggest remedial measures wherever necessary.
(g) To perform such other duties and exercise such other powers as may be entrusted by the management.
(h) To ensure the establishment and supervise proper, effective and efficient systems of control and accountability.
(i) To monitor institutional performance and quality assurance arrangements.
(j) To promote transparency and openness at every level and implementation of e-governance.
(k) To discuss and sanction the budget and expenditure
(l) To discuss Action taken report of the Institution on feedback report obtained from all stakeholders
