We were honoured to have Hon’ble Shri. Devendraji Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, grace us with his presence at JIT for the Maha Arti & Mahaprasad on 15th September, 2024. On this auspicious occasion, he also inaugurated the Training, Placement, and Career Counseling Centre, a monumental step towards empowering our students for a brighter future and successful careers.

Jhulelal Institute of Technology celebrates 17th Foundation Day Jhulelal Institute of Technology (JIT) an Autonomous Institute, Nagpur, accredited with NAAC A+ grade celebrated its 17th Foundation Day on 22 August 2024. Established in the year 2008, under the aegis of Samridhi Sarwajanik Charitable Trust (SSCT), JIT has seen an incredible growth over the last 16 years. The program commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Narendra Bawane, Principal who briefly gave an insight into the growth and success of the Institute in the last several years. He also stated that as an Institute, JIT is committed to academic excellence and service to society. On this occasion of Foundation Day, the faculties who had performed exceptionally well and upgraded themselves thereby contributing to the growth of the Institute during the last session were felicitated by the management. JIT also continued its tradition of rewarding the teaching staff, non-teaching staff and housekeeping staff. The honors such as Gurujan Award (for teaching staff), Best Non-teaching staff at Administrative level, best non-teaching staff in Group D, Swacchata Doot Award (housekeeping staff) and Bravery Award were announced on the occasion. The Gurujan award consists of an Appreciation Certificate, memento and cash prize of Rs. 5100/-. The best non-teaching, Swacchata Doot and Bravery awards comprises of an Appreciation Certificate, memento and cash prize of Rs. 2100/- each. The recipient of Gurujan Awards were Ms. Pallavi Gajbhiye and Dr. Reena Thakur. The Best non-teaching award were received by Mr. Swapnil Falke and Mr. Ashish Petkar. The Swacchata Doot award was received by Ms. Jaishree Adbaile whereas Mrs. Sangita Kondalkar was the recipient of the Bravery award for saving the life of many from fire at the premises of Panchmukhi Hanuman Mandir, Babulkheda. Dr. Nisha Balani was felicitated with shawl, shreefal and memento for receiving doctoral degree in Computer Science and Engineering from DY Patil deemed to be university, Mumbai. The institute felicitated the staff based on their research achievements.

Shri Virendra Kukreja, Secretary- SSCT, shared his memories about the journey of the Institute and also highlighted the future endeavors to be undertaken. Dr. Hemant Asrani, Dean Admin & Director expressed his views on the future aspects of the growth of the institute and its faculty members. He also acknowledged the contribution of each of the faculty members for the growth of the institute. Shri Mahesh Sadhwani, Chairman- SSCT, congratulated everyone and expressed gratitude to all who were involved in different capacities and worked tirelessly for the success of the institute. He appreciated the unrelenting efforts put in by all in helping JIT emerge as one of the pioneering Institutes in Central India. Shri. Jayprakash Sahajramani, Treasurer- SSCT, Shri. Girish Sadhwani- Director, Shri. Rajesh Tejwani- Director, Shri. Pramod Pampatwar- Director Technical, Dr. Narendra Bawane, Principal and Dr. Sohel Bhura, Vice-principal prominently
graced the occasion by their august presence. Prof. Ishwari Ukunde, proposed a vote of thanks.
