Sr. No. Project Title Abstract Guide Name
1         IoT-Based Flood Monitoring and Early Warning System Using ESP8266

This project aims to design and implement a real-time flood monitoring and early warning system using the ESP8266 NodeMCU microcontroller. The device continuously measures river or lake water levels and transmits the data every minute to a cloud-based Apache server. A web application built with HTML, CSS, PHP, and MySQL displays both current and historical water-level data through an interactive dashboard, enabling users to visualize trends and assess flood risks. The system enhances community preparedness by providing timely information, and it can be further integrated with Android applications or AI-based predictive models in Google Colab for advanced flood forecasting.

        Prof. Meher Bhawnani
2         IoT-Based Smart Attendance System for Laboratory Management Using RFID and ESP8266

This project develops a smart attendance system to replace manual register-based attendance in laboratories with an automated IoT solution. Each student is assigned an RFID card, which they tap on an ESP8266 NodeMCU-enabled RFID reader upon entering the lab. The system authenticates the card, records attendance in real time, and stores the data securely on a cloud-hosted Apache server with a MySQL database. A responsive web application built with HTML, CSS, and PHP allows faculty to view, manage, and extract attendance records in tabular or graphical formats. This solution eliminates manual errors, enhances transparency, and ensures efficient record-keeping while enabling future integration with Android applications or AI-based analytics for attendance trend prediction.

          Prof Meher Bhawnani
3           IoT-Enabled Smart Notice Board Using ESP8266 and MAX7219 Display

This project presents the design of a smart digital notice board system that replaces traditional manual notice boards in college campuses with an IoT-based automated solution. The ESP8266 NodeMCU controls a MAX7219-based LED matrix display, which scrolls important announcements or scheduled messages in real time. An admin panel developed with HTML, CSS, PHP, and MySQL on a cloud-hosted Apache server enables administrators to create, update, and schedule messages remotely. Students can instantly view the scrolling notices on the display, ensuring timely communication of information. The system enhances campus communication by providing centralized control, flexibility in scheduling, and the potential for AI-driven text prioritization or multilingual translation using Google Colab for future upgrades.

          Prof Priyanka Dudhe
4           IoT-Connected Vehicle Monitoring and Rash Driving Alert System Using ESP8266

This project proposes an IoT-enabled connected vehicle system for monitoring rash driving and detecting accidents in real time. The ESP8266 NodeMCU integrates with an ADXL345 accelerometer and a crash detection module to continuously track vehicle motion patterns. In cases of overspeeding, abnormal acceleration, or collision, the system immediately records the event and transmits data to a cloud-hosted Apache server. A web-based dashboard built with HTML, CSS, PHP, and MySQL allows traffic authorities to monitor vehicles and review incident history. Additionally, the system leverages the Twilio API to send instant SMS alerts to concerned authorities, ensuring timely response to potential accidents. The solution enhances road safety and can be further expanded with AI models in Google Colab for predictive accident risk analysis and driver behavior profiling.

          Prof Priyanka Dudhe
5         IoT-Based Smart Dustbin with Real-Time Monitoring and Automated Alerts

This project focuses on developing an IoT-enabled smart waste management system that monitors trash levels in real time. An ESP8266 NodeMCU collects sensor data from ultrasonic or infrared modules to measure bin fill levels and transmits the information to a cloud-hosted Apache server with a MySQL database. A web dashboard designed with HTML, CSS, and PHP visualizes current and historical data while integrating location mapping to track dustbin status across different areas. When the bin reaches its full capacity, the system automatically triggers an alert via the Twilio API, notifying municipal authorities or staff to schedule timely collection. This approach reduces overflow issues, optimizes waste collection routes, and can be enhanced with AI-based prediction models in Google Colab for smart scheduling and resource allocation.

          Dr. Reena Thakur
6         IoT-Based Automatic Thermal Stability and Interlocking System for Food and Medicine Storage

This project introduces an IoT-enabled temperature monitoring and control system designed to ensure thermal stability in food and medicine storage facilities. Using the ESP8266 NodeMCU with temperature and humidity sensors, the system continuously tracks environmental conditions and maintains them within safe limits through automatic interlocking mechanisms for cooling or heating devices. Data is transmitted to a cloud-hosted Apache server with a MySQL database, where a web application built with HTML, CSS, and PHP provides real-time monitoring, historical analysis, and alert management. In case of abnormal temperature variations, the system triggers instant notifications to concerned authorities via SMS or email. This solution safeguards sensitive goods from spoilage, ensures compliance with storage standards, and can be extended with AI-based predictive analytics in Google Colab for proactive thermal management and fault detection.

          Dr. Reena Thakur
7           IoT-Based Air Pollution Monitoring System Using PM2.5 and Air Quality Sensors with Cloud Integration

This project presents an IoT-driven air pollution monitoring system designed to measure and analyze environmental air quality in real time. The ESP8266 NodeMCU interfaces with PM2.5 and other air quality sensors to collect data on particulate matter concentration and pollutant levels. The sensed data is transmitted to a cloud-hosted Apache server, where it is stored in a MySQL database and visualized through a web application built with HTML, CSS, and PHP. The dashboard provides both current and historical pollution trends, along with graphical insights for environmental analysis. Authorities and users can be alerted when pollution levels exceed safety thresholds, ensuring timely preventive action. The system can be enhanced with AI models in Google Colab to forecast pollution trends and provide predictive insights for urban planning and public health management.

            Dr. Uma Patel
8           Generative AI-Powered Virtual Garden Monitoring and Disease Prediction Using Raspberry Pi

This project leverages Raspberry Pi, a camera module, and generative AI models to create an intelligent plant monitoring system. The Raspberry Pi captures images of plants in real time, which are processed using cloud-hosted generative AI models (via Google Colab) to simulate healthy growth, detect anomalies, and predict potential disease progression. The system generates predictive visualizations of how plants may develop under current conditions, helping farmers or gardeners take proactive measures. Data is stored on a cloud-based Apache server with MySQL, and a web dashboard built with HTML, CSS, and PHP displays current plant health, predictive imagery, and actionable alerts. By combining IoT, cloud computing, and generative AI, this solution transforms traditional crop monitoring into an interactive and predictive management tool, reducing losses and optimizing plant care.
